Beano 4249: High-Speed Minxing!
1. Express delivery!
When Minnie’s dad says no to a brand new electric scooter, the Beanotown Minx takes things into her own hands and builds her own. Using her new high-powered two-wheeler, Minnie earns some cash by delivering food and ice cream at the speed of light!
2. Dennis has a shed-ache!
Dennis has to tidy out his bedroom and begins by taking his broken skateboard to the garden shed. And that’s when things start to get tricky!
3. Sofa, so good?
Beanotown’s best – and only – ghost hunter Jem Jones and her pal Pie Face settle in to watch some new episodes of ‘Weirder Things’. A mysterious sofa appears in the living room and before Jem can press play, her pastry-loving friend has disappeared into the cushions!
4. Dangerous Duck!
Dangerous Dan is taking time out from being Beanotown’s youngest spy and relaxing on the lake at the park. Surely S.M.I.R.K. would cause a nuisance on this beautiful day? Spoiler: they do.
5. Will the Bash Street Kids get lost?
After a kick around in the park ends after Mr. Throbb confiscates their ball, the kids from Class 2B agree to join his orienteering club (so they can have it back). Will they be able to master the tricky art of map reading?
Beano 4248: Slime Time!
1. Would you look at the slime?
Dennis and Gnasher rush to investigate a meteor which has landed in Beanotown during the middle of the night. They open up the space rock to discover that it’s full of slime! But that’s when the real trouble starts. Can Beanotown’s dynamic duo save the day?
2. Taylor made!
Minnie has patiently waited at her computer to buy tickets for Taylor Swift’s upcoming gig at Beanotown Hall. Despite her best efforts, the concert has sold out which means she’ll have to hatch a plan to sneak inside the venue!
3. Edd’s causing a stink!
Edd has a very windy bum and the Numskulls don’t waste any time in getting to the bottom of the problem. Which unlucky soul will have to wear the guff-proof suit to investigate this very smelly situation?
4. Enter Sandman!
Jem Jones and Pie Face are enjoying a day at the beach until they come to face with a giant foe… the Sandman. Will they be able to take on this seaside enemy and show some true grit?
5. Calamity James is really under the weather!
It’s a beautiful day in Beanotown and Calamity James is on a mission to enjoy it to the full! After applying some sun cream, that’s when the bad luck seems to rain down on Beanotown’s most unfortunate resident!
