Will you be able to brush off this puzzle game?

Painters and decorators must have a satisfying job. Imagine turning up to a drab home that’s in need of a lick of paint and by the end of the day, everything looks fresh and brand new – especially when you get to use a roller and a tray of brightly coloured paint. The job often involves climbing a tall ladder for long periods of time, so if this has put you off, don’t worry, House Painter is the game for you!

The game is fairly straightforward. At the beginning, you’re presented with two side of a house to paint using a square sponge. On the sides of the building, there several obstacles – a window, a hedge, an electricity box. You must paint around these, which is actually easy. You won’t get paint on anything other than the wall, which is a great relief to anyone who worries about laundry.

Here’s the hard part. The sponge can travel from right to left, and up and down, but you can’t change its direction until it touches one of the obstacles. This means you have to plan which way you’re going to paint the house and not leave a space. You’ll get the hang of it very quickly.

When you complete a house painting job, you’re paid money for your efforts and this amount will build up in no time – provided you put in some hard work for your customers. Once in a while, you’re given the chance to buy buildings in an empty landscape and upgrade them if you like. The more painting jobs you complete, the more money you will earn and the bigger your town will get.
